In deze editie

Welcome to issue 188 of The GameOn Magazine! Due to how publishing dates work, we’re finalising this issue weeks before the new console is released, so although you’re reading in June, unfortunately we have nothing to share on that! Rest assured, you’ll see it as soon as we have anything to show you.

For now check out our articles, looking at difficulties, Crown Hunting, and something for Father’s Day. There’s also a complaint, some Nintendogs, and a couple dose of So I Tried… for you to check out!

Most of our previews are out in Early Access right now, but there are two releasing in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for those. Alana loads up Ammossum (loads as in a gun, not a game), Martin bargain hunts in Storage Hunter Simulator, and more!

Then we’ve got the reviews with Dylan visiting Bionic Bay, Jacob being a Starvader, and Erin stealing Monaco 2. Jacob ran Out of Hands, I heard the Croc Legend of the Gobbos, and Mike read from the The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Not sure how you remaster a scroll, but maybe the review explains it!

There’s plenty more, of course, so just get to reading and GameOn until next issue!

How Accessible is The Darkest Files

Accessibility has been improving as of late, so you might be wondering how it is in the latest titles. In this article, I'll go over the accessibility options available in the historical courtroom puzzler The Darkest Files, developed by Paintbucket Games.

Better on Hard: Hades

Videogame difficulty is a weird thing, as the level of challenge is such a personal and subjective topic.

So I Tried... Exoprimal

Each edition of So I Tried... I will try a game that I have never played before. Will I find something new to love? Will I find something new to despise? I'll take a full half hour, no matter how bad it gets or how badly I do, to see if this is the game for me. This time I went with the 2023 multiplayer shooter, Exoprimal.

Storage Hunter Simulator

Storage auctions have always been such a weird concept to me: someone decides not to pay for their storage space or other happenstances result in it becoming abandoned, forcing the company that owns it to put it, and its contents, on auction to make back losses!
